St Gallen - Benedictine Abbey

To the south of St Gallen's Multergasse is the spacious Klosterhof (Abbey Yard), around which is the former Benedictine Abbey. The extensive range of buildings, dating from the 17th and 18th C., now accommodates the bishop's palace, the residences of the cathedral clergy and cantonal government offices.
