St Augustine Alligator Farm
The Alligator Farm features what is reputedly the world's only complete collection of all 23 Crocodilians. Elevated observation boardwalks allow visitors to see hundreds of alligators. The facility is also linked with the University of Florida and conducts various animal research projects. It is one of Florida's oldest tourist attractions, founded in 1883. The original location was destroyed by storms and the present building was constructed in 1937.
