Description

The Spanish Quarter Museum consists of nine buildings spread over 1.5-acres. Life in 1740 is depicted by actors in period costume portraying Spanish soldiers and their families. There's the Casa de Gómez, a Spanish soldier's house, the blacksmith's workshop, the De Mesa House with period furnishings and more. Their occupations in blacksmithing, carpentry, leatherworking, candlemaking and other trades are featured as well as growing food and tending livestock.
