Description
The Ross Memorial Museum is located in an historic Georgian mansion built in the early 1820s, which is more commonly known as Chestnut Hall. Surrounding the house are beautiful gardens. Inside the home visitors will find the original furnishings of Henry Phipps and Sarah Juliette Ross, who were collectors of fine furniture and art. They filled their home with art from Canada and items they collected on their world travels.
