Focusing on artefacts from the 7th to 15th Century, and in particular the 9th to 12th Centuries, the Museum of Croatian Archaeological Monuments should be on every visitor's list to Split. One of the oldest museums in Croatia, the Museum of Croatian Archaeological Monuments continues to be actively involved in the research and collection of new items. Most research is done in the south Croatian region, between the Cetina and Zrmanja Rivers.
