Brac

Brac is the largest island in Central Dalmatia, even having its own airport. It is also the closest island to Split, making it a nice day trip from the city. The main town on Brac is Bol, popular for the beautiful beach of Zlatni Rat, which is backed by the highest peak in the Adriatic Islands. There is also a two hour hike which leads from Bol up Mount St Vitus.
