Old Town
The picturesque old town of Sigüenza, with its fine noble mansions and burghers' houses, is best explored on foot. To the south of the cathedral is the Plaza Mayor, with the Ayuntamiento (Town Hall) of 1511. From the Plaza Mayor we go past the church of San Vicente and the Arco de San Juan to the 12th century Castillo, now a parador, from which there are fine views.
