Kirkwood Ski Area

Kirkwood is located 35 miles south of South Lake Tahoe. Opened in 1972 the hill features a 2,000 ft vertical drop. Twelve lifts including seven triples and three doubles give access to over 65 runs. There are also 80 kilometers of cross country trails.
