Siena - Sights to Northeast

Northeast Sienna features many buildings (churches and palaces) dating from the 14th and 15th centuries. The buildings have been well-preserved, and attest to a prosperous past in both their art and architecture.

The National Archeological Museum, which features many artifacts that were recovered from the local area, is also located in this quadrant of the city.
