Shiprock Pinnacle Description

The Shiprock Pinnacle is a volcanic monolith in the Navajo Indian Reservation in northwest New Mexico. It rises almost 2,000 feet above the desert, and the nearby Navajo village of the same name. In the Navajo language it is called "Tse Bit'a'i'", or "rock with wings".
