Description
The Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art in Shawnee was founded in 1914 making it one of the oldest museums in Oklahoma.

The permanent collections of the museum feature Egyptian, Greek and Roman art, objects from the Middle Ages and Renaissance, as well as modern art from the 20th century. The museum contains Native American, African and Eastern art.
