Sfax - Harbor

Sfax's commercial harbor, the second largest in Tunisia, is linked with the Mediterranean by a short canal. Until the opening of the new fishing harbor, 3km/2mi south of the town, the fishing fleet used the smaller of the two basins, on the south side of which is the departure point of the ferry to the Kerkennah Islands. To the southeast is the town's small and not particularly attractive beach.
