Seattle - Space Needle
The Space Needle, a 605 ft high telecommunications tower, has become the great landmark and emblem of Seattle. From the restaurant and the observation platform there are overwhelming panoramic views. A Rock'n'Roll Museum is due to open at the foot of the Space Needle by 2000 at the latest, designed by the renowned architect Frank Gehry.
