Scicli - Chiesa Madre

The Chiesa Madre in Scicli was originally named Sant'Ignazio, having been the church of the Jesuit college of the time, and follows the traditions of that order by being a triple-aisled basilica, two-storied with three doorways and its front divided up by pilasters. The two short towers at the sides are set slightly back, as was the custom.
