Chicago Anthenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design Description
Located in Schaumburg, the Museum of Architecture and Design is dedicated to the disciplines of architecture, industrial and product design, graphics and urban planning. Some of the items that visitors can see here include:

Drawings, models, pieces of old buildings, Chicago-made electronics, china, clocks, televisions, business equipment, films, videos and examples of graphic arts ranging from advertisements to brochures. The collection is international in scope and includes objects and material from the US, Europe and Asia. The goal is to impress upon the public the idea that design has an impact on the quality of life.

The museum also hosts walking tours, gallery walks, and special performances and events.
