Golden Isles
The Golden Isles lie off the coast of Savannah and stretch as far as the Florida border. They offer leisure and holidaying facilities that can be expensive but may be worth considering. The best known are St Simon's Island, Jekyll Island, the former "millionaires' island", and Cumberland Island with its unspoilt natural beauty.
