Sarasota - Sarasota Opera House

The Sarasota Opera Company's season runs from February to March. It performs a variety of classic and contemporary opera pieces.

The Winter Opera Festival which runs February through March attracts opera-lovers from throughout Florida, the U.S., and the world. The repertoire is a mix of familiar operas and rarely heard works of artistic merit, including a cycle to perform the complete works of Giuseppe Verdi.

The Sarasota Opera House has recently undergone a 20 million dollar restoration and renovation.
