Description
(Local Name: Casa Tostado / Museo de la Familia Dominicana) Casa del Tostado is a lovely two-story colonial home built by Francisco de Tostado de la Peña, a poet and professor. He was killed at the hands of Sir Francis Drake's troops in 1586.

Known as one of the most beautiful houses in the Zona Colonial, this Gothic/Moorish building now houses the Museum of the Dominican Family of the 19th C including an exhibition of furniture from different eras.
