There are 6 families of howling monkeys that inhabit the reserve.

Tips
The tour involves fairly strenuous hiking for a good three hours. A good pair of hiking shoes and long pants are recommended for this tour. You can bring a bathing suit to jump into one of the rivers at the end of the tour.
