Description
Until 1941 the Santa Barbara Museum of Art was housed in a former post-office, and during its relatively short existence it has assembled an impressive and diverse collection of exhibits. It covers a wide spectrum, ranging from Egyptian works of art, Roman sculptures and an important Asiatic art department, to works by French Impressionists, 20th century American paintings, photographs, prints, drawings and kinetic art. This little museum is well worth a visit.
