Merry-Go-Round Museum Description
The Merry-Go-Round Museum in Sandusky restores old merry-go-rounds and carousels. Many of these antique items have been brought back to life and are operational, allowing visitors to experience the old carousels in action once again. The star attraction at the Merry-Go Round Museum is the Allen Herschell carousel, built in 1939. Overall the museum does an excellent job of recreating the old carnival atmosphere, complete with music.
