Old San Juan - Walkway of the Princess Paseo de La Princesa

Paseo de la Princesa (Walkway of the Princess) is a 19th C walkway lined with trees, antique street lamps, benches, fountains, vendors, and street entertainers on weekends. The Paseo de la Princesa leads to a fountain and a bronze sculpture by Luis Sanguino, depicting the diversity of the island's cultural roots. Restored in the 1990's, the walkway's new pink stones lead to the San Juan Bay.

The Paseo de Princesa is a great spot to people watch and just relax. If you are feeling the heat after walking around old San Juan, the pleasant breezes off the bay are quite refreshing.
