Description
This quite exceptional science museum is housed in the Palace of the Fine Arts, the only survivor from among 323 large buildings constructed for the Panama-Pacific Exposition of 1915. The vast majority of the museum's 700 or so displays encourage visitor participation, which children particularly enjoy and which contributes greatly to the understanding of nature's workings.
