San Diego - Simon Edison Center for Performing Arts

Next to the Old Globe Theatre are two further units of the Simon Edison Center for the Performing Arts: a theatre for contemporary plays (225 seats), named after the famous 19th century Shakespeare director Cassius Clay, and the Lowell Davies Festival Theatre, an open-air stage with over 600 seats, where the Shakespeare Festival is held in summer.
