Description
The Chinese Historical Museum in San Francisco's Chinatown is devoted to the history of the Chinese people in America. It can be found in Adler Place branching off near 1140 Grant Avenue.

The collections are primarily of objects, photographs and documents relative to the role of the Chinese during the California Gold Rush. The museum also has important material about later periods.
