San Diego - Belmont Park

Belmont Park is a San Diego institution. Located in Mission, the park has been in its present location for over 85 years. This amusement park features rides of all kinds, midway games, miniature golf, mirror maze, laser maze, an arcade, a coconut climb, and a Sky Ropes adventure. The park is especially famous for its wooden roller coaster known as the Giant Dipper.

Be sure to bring your bathing suit when you visit. Belmont Park has two water attractions; a giant pool kept at a very pleasant 84 degrees Fahrenheit (29 degrees Celsius) and the Wave House. The Wave House contains two exciting machines called the Flow Rider and the Flow Barrel which allow you to experience what it's like to surf or boogie board a real ocean wave. If you find yourself hungry from all the activity at the park, beachfront restaurants and a food court provide tasty fare.
