Sambalpur - Surroundings
The town of Huma, near Sambalpur, is the site of the Vimaleswar Temple. The temple is a small Shiva temple with an interesting characteristic - it is slanted or tilted. The main temple is tilted in one direction and other small temples are tilted in another direction. The structure may be tilted due to some geological reason or it may have been built that way. The fish in the nearby river, Kudo fish, are never caught - popular belief is that they belong to Lord Vimaleswar.
