Salt Lake City - Joseph Smith Memorial Building

The Joseph Smith Memorial Building is located in Temple Square in downtown Salt Lake City. It was built in 1911 and originally known as the Hotel Utah, but renamed in honor of the first president of the Mormon Church. Some of the decorative features include marble columns, art glass and a grand staircase.

The building houses the Legacy Theater, conference rooms, a FamilySearch center, Nauvoo Cafe, and two restaurants.
