Røros - Copperworks Collections

(Local Name: Kobberverks Samlingern) At the north end of Bergmannsgate in Røros are the Kobberverks Samlingern (Copperworks Collections), a museum illustrating the mining and processing of copper (mining equipment and implements, miners' lamps, etc.), together with the banners and weapons of the Miners' Corps. The mining company failed in the late 1970s as a result of economic difficulties.
