(Local Name: Museo Nazionale delle Arti e Tradizioni Populari) The National Museum of Folk Arts and Traditions has ten sections devoted to Italian folk art and the traditions and customs of the different parts of Italy, illustrated with displays of flags, costumes, musical instruments and models. Gradually the museum is being rebuilt. Not all the departments are open to visitors.

This museum has the most comprehensive collection of folk dress in Italy.
