(Local Name: Museo della Civiltà Romana) The Museum of Roman Culture, housed in a building presented to the city of Rome by the Fiat company, seeks to illustrate the history of Rome with the help of models and reconstructions. It offers an excellent survey of the development of the Roman world empire and of the changing architecture of Rome under the Republic and the Empire.
