Rome - Erie Canal Village

 
Erie Canal Village is an outdoor living history museum that has been reconstructed on the site where the construction of the Erie Canal began. The village highlights community life from 1840 representing a village that was settled near the site. Farm, canal, and Americana exhibits are featured.

The Harden museum houses a collection of horse drawn vehicles. Other buildings found in Erie Canal Village include a Blacksmith Shop, Railroad Station, Ice House, school, Maynard Methodist Church, Shull Victorian House, Settler's House, and Canal Store.
