Taubman Museum of Art (formerly the Art Museum of Western Virginia)
Taubman Museum of Art (formerly the Art Museum of Western Virginia) in Roanoke is one of the city's cultural hot spots. Featuring several permanent galleries of 19th and 20th Century art, the museum also hosts traveling exhibits on a regular basis. It is housed in a 66 million dollar building designed by architect Randall Stout of Los Angeles.
