Echo Valley Provincial Park

Echo Valley Provincial Park, west of Fort Qu'Appelle, is in the heart of the Qu'Appelle Valley, and extends over 650 ha (1606 acres) between Lakes Pasque and Echo. It has scenic trails and good swimming in the lakes, as well as particularly fine fishing.
The Saskatchewan Fish Culture Station in the eastern part of the park, on Highway 210, is the only fish farm in North America that breeds fish for both cold and warm waters, raising about half a million trout and 20 million walleye and whitefish every year. The information center is open to visitors May-Aug. There are guided tours throughout the year, by arrangement, and the best time for a visit is between January and July.
