Pune - Osho Meditiation Resort

The Osho Meditation Resort dates back to 1974 when Bhagwan Rajneesh founded this location as an ashram. In 1981, Rajneesh left Pune to set up Rajneeshpuram in Oregon. He was expelled from the US in 1987 and returned to Pune. In all this time he developed a great following - 750 centers in 80 countries.

The Osho Resort features a swimming pool, Zen tennis, sauna, massage facilities, and the main center for meditation.

The Osho Teerth, a Japanese Zen garden, behind the Resort is open to the public and worth the visit.
