Bayamon Attractions

With a population of nearly a quarter of a million people, the city of Bayamón has grown extensively since the push to industrialize the island in the 1950s. It is a working-class, industrialized city with more than 150 factories.

There is little to hold the visitor's attention in Bayamón as the traffic is horrendous, the air foul from all the factories, and combined with the humidity of Puerto Rico it makes for an unpleasant experience. That said, if you are staying here or passing through, there is the Luis A Ferré Parque de Ciencias, and a pleasant park called Parque Central de Bayamón located across from city hall.
