Description
Exploration Place Science Centre and Museum was opened in 2001 and is run by the Fraser-Fort George Museum Society. The various galleries at the museum explore the history of various themes. Some of the galleries include the First Nations People, the Fort George Sports Hall of Fame, The Exploration Gallery, Critter Kitchen, Nature Exchange and the Paleontology Gallery. The Children's Gallery houses skeletons, dinosaur sculptures and a dig pit. A virtual motion theater offers daily rides. Call ahead to find out what's on.

The museum also offers programs for school groups and children, as well as online exhibits.
