Babelsberg
The district of Babelsberg, famed in the early days of the cinema as the home of the Ufa film studios, originally grew up around Nowawes, an old colony of spinners and weavers, traces of which can still be detected near the church (Weberplatz). The church (by J. Boumann, 1752-53) is a modest aisleless building with galleries.
