Porto Torres - Church of San Gavino

On the east side of the town is the Church of San Gavino (11th-13th centuries; fortified in the 18th century), a basilica in Pisan Romanesque style. In the interior are 22 ancient columns and six pillars, and in the crypt several Roman sarcophagi of the third-fourth centuries.
