Portland - Waterfront Park

From the Portland Building continue in the direction of the river to Waterfront Park. The park, through which runs Front Street, extends along the Yamhill Historic District. The converted premises now housing shops and restaurants were originally used for harbour business. To the north the park stretches as far as the Skidmore Fountain, where a colourful Saturday market is held. En route are the Maritime Center and Museum (113 Front Ave.) and the Jeff Morris Memorial Fire Museum (111 Front Ave.). North of Burnside Street, at 9 NW 2nd Avenue is the American Advertising Museum.
