Porterville Historical Museum

Porterville Historical Museum is housed in the old Southern Pacific depot constructed in 1913. The museum was founded in 1965 and features the creative work of Yokuts Indians as well as items used by the first settlers such as furniture, toys and kitchen utensils. Eight mosaics are located in the yard of Porterville Historical Museum highlighting a special place or event in the history of Porterville.
