Blackwater Draw Archaelogical Site and Museum Description
The Black Water Draw Museum, run by the University of Eastern New Mexico, has prehistoric exhibits that date human settlement in the area back 11,000 years. There are also stone weapons and mastodon bones, all found at the Blackwater Draw Archaelogical Site, ten miles down State Highway 467 from the museum.
