Flor da Rosa Description

The former Maltese convent in Flor da Rosa, 2km/1.25mi north of Crato, is much better preserved, and parts of the complex, which was built around 1350 and extended in the 16th C., now contain a pousada. The convent church is impressive, and the Late Gothic cloister boasts sleek marble columns.
