Description
The Castello Pretorio, built for the Counts Guidi in the 13th century, is a plain and massive building with a tall tower; the battlements were added during the period of Florentine rule. The two-story wing is built round an elegant courtyard with the coats of arms of Florentine governors. The chapel has 14th century frescoes.

Adjoining the castello are the Torre dei Diávoli (Devils' Tower) and a large cistern.
