Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village (Pincher Creek Museum, )
In the Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village, sometimes just called the Pincher Creek Museum, the history of the region is depicted. Several buildings and log cabins, built true to the originals, including that of Kootenai (kutenai) Brown, bring the late 1800s to the visitor. Kootenai Brown, for whom the Kootenai Brown Pioneer Village is named, was an Irishman who was the first man to settle here in 1889.
The museum also has thousands of artifacts from the old days. Kootenai Brown and his wife are buried in nearby Waterton Lakes National Park.
