Phoenix - Arizona Doll and Toy Museum (Stevens House)
Stevens House (between 6th and 7th Streets) contains the Arizona Doll and Toy Museum.
The house was built in 1901, by Constance Stevens, in typical Midwestern style. The Museum has a wide variety of dolls and toys from the 19th century onward as well as contemporary toys and furnished doll houses.
Despite what you might guess from the name, the Doll and Toy Museum is not a museum designed for children, it is really for those with an interest in doll and toy collections. If you happen to remember some of the items from your childhood there is also a bit of nostalgia.
