Description
The Civil War Library & Museum was founded in 1888 when post-war veteran's began compiling their papers, relics, memorabilia, souvenirs, artifacts, and awards. A variety of Civil War artifacts including weapons, uniforms, and flags are displayed as well as exhibits dedicated to Abraham Lincoln, General George G. Meade, and General Ulysses S. Grant.
