West Chester is graced by many Greek Revival and Victorian houses. It was the home of the Jeffersonian, a newspaper in the North that supported the South. A rioting mob wrecked the paper's office and soon after the postmaster general prohibited delivery by mail.
The origin and development of helicopters is demonstrated at the American Helicopter Museum. Restored vintage aircraft, artifacts, photographs and interactive exhibits are on display.

Six galleries in the Chester County Historical Society Museum feature early American furniture and decorative arts. The collection includes 60,000 items such as clocks, ceramics, silver, clothing, letters, diaries, photographs and dolls.
QVC Tours allow visitors a chance to watch how the cable shopping channel is run. Visitors can see live television in action, become a member of a studio audience, or part of a special QVC event.
