Washington Crossing Historic Park

The 500-acre park is dedicated to General George Washington and the 2,400 soldiers who crossed the Delaware River on Christmas 1776 to attack and capture Trenton, New Jersey then be garrisoned by Hessian mercenaries. A visitor center outlines the park's historic buildings: Bowman's Hill Tower, Mahlon K. Taylor House, Durham Boat House, Hibbs House, McConkey's ferry Inn, Thompson-Neely House and others. Note that the park is divided into two sections and that a six-building ticket allows entry into most of the buildings and attractions.
