The Indian Caverns were thought to be quite small until Harold "Hubby" Wertz and his wife, Lenore visited in 1928. They unearthed what is now known as Giant's Hall as well as over 500 artifacts and some skeletal remains. Limestone formations and American Indian artifacts are displayed in the caverns.
